ABSTRACT
The financial sector remains the principal growth engine of the global economy. How can it be geared to promote sustainability? This chapter looks at ESG investments and impact investments (including B Corporations). It examines how corporate responsibility increasingly serves as a doorway to investment funds and private equity devoted to environmental and social causes. It concludes by looking at how disclosures and regulation affect the landscape and drive sustainability.
