ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the potential legal issues a church may encounter due to sex crime allegations. Pastoral confidentiality, insurance coverage, potential liability, and church bylaws are discussed as a means of providing churches with various ways to prevent and respond to legal issues and challenges while keeping staff and congregate members safe.
