Israel is not the only country that has suffered from acts of terror and the Palestinians are not the only people who have committed such acts. Great Britain has the Irish Republican Army. Spain has the Basque nationalists. Italy has the Red Brigades. Turkey has the Turkish People's Liberation Army. Pakistan has its al Zulfikar (the Sword) group. Uruguay has the Tupamaros, who derive their name from an ancient Incan revolutionary. Ethiopia has the Eritrean Liberation Front. Japan has the United Red Army. West Germany has the Rote Armee Faktion, founded by the old Baader-Meinhof Gang. America has the Puerto Rican Fuerzas Armadas de Liberacion Nacional. And Israel has the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, as well as other terrorist groups - some affiliated with the PLO (the Palestine Liberation Organization) and others not.
