ABSTRACT
There are two main purposes for studying the modification of radiation damage: (1) to obtain more information regarding the mechanism of radiation damage, and (2) to apply the knowledge of radiation biology to radiation therapy. During recent decades, the modification of the radiation effect in vitro and in vivo by various physical, chemical, and biological agents has been extensively studied.
