ABSTRACT
The previous chapter described strategies teachers use to make their informal assessments. In Chapter 1 we outlined how teachers can use their formative assessments about children’s learning and understanding to improve the learning process. One way that they do this is by giving feedback to the learner directly about what is going well or done well, what is not right, and how it can be improved.
