This chapter explains:
why governments are involved in the management of tourism from the centre
who are the actors, or which are the institutions engaged in tourism at this level, including cabinets, ministers, ministries and the policy community
how the system of tourism policy making is managed
what the results are in one system: the United Kingdom.
