A tear dropt from the hearse of the Reverend Dr Benjamin Calamy

Benjamin Calamy (born 1642) belonged to a prominent clergy family. Unlike his father and elder brother, who left the Anglican ministry to become Presbyterians, Benjamin Calamy remained within the Church of England.
