ABSTRACT

In the past and with industrialization, people were considered the labor component. They were a thing, like capital and machinery. Obviously, the difference is that people have an intelligence that allows them to make improvements and breakthroughs in the way things work. All such advancements are the result of human application. By tapping into people’s intelligence potential, the skills, work and results of an organization can be greatly enhanced. The explosion of new knowledge and the resulting new conditions in all phases of business operations are produced by talented, knowledgeable, creative, imaginative people. They are absolutely essential for success or even just the survival of any human organization. Talented people require a free and multifaceted environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. It’s an environment of give-and-take, unfettered exchange of views, constructive criticism, continuous challenge and nonpunitive opposition.
