ABSTRACT

With my publicist, Dick Rundell, I developed a master plan and time line for sending mail and buying advertising. We sent campaign literature to all the Democrats for the three elections. In the second and third elections, I sent literature to Republicans as well. (In the first campaign, I was ill advised not to send mailings to the opposition party. Now I know that undecided voters will vote for the person and not by party affiliation. After the general election, we could tell by the number of votes cast in certain precincts that Republicans did vote for me.)
