Whenever possible, it is important to schedule the session to take place at regular intervals. In author experience of delivering the program in schools, weekly sessions are ideal, as this time frame encourages continuous learning and timely opportunities for re-inforcement. The focus of the session is introduced to ensure clarity and to create a shared purpose for the session. At the beginning of the program each pupil should be provided with a program Log, an A4 ring file with dividers in which they can keep their work. The purpose of the program Log is to enable pupils to build up their own folder of work associated with the program. The program Log provides pupils with a vehicle in which they can ask the teacher questions about the sessions and to which the teacher can respond with comments, stickers and personal words of encouragement. It is useful if pupils conclude their time with each other in a friendly and positive manner. .
