ABSTRACT
OIR is equivalent to a GPS (global positioning system) in terms of following a specific road to advance to quality standards. The difference is that while GPS offers a paved road to follow, the OIR is a practical guide for people who work in the organization to pave a road to continuous improvement and quality standards built from reliable sources and increasing the reliability of the assessment and the validity of the results.
