ABSTRACT
The powerful words collected over 4 years from young adults who have survived cancer on the impact of the group in their lives. It is all the qualitative feedback from young adult participants in Tucson, Arizona. Their words are a foundation of the creation of group structure. These words can also be used as an intervention for young adults to comment on. The collection of young adults’ experiences will inspire clinicians to provide group support specifically to them. These comments are valuable to the most experienced oncology worker to a new clinician. The themes and issues addressed are the foundation of the critical need to provide support to this underserved cancer population.
