ABSTRACT

This chapter explores state and transnational policing bodies directed at economic crime. The chapter begins by examining what is meant by policing before assessing the different structures in the USA, Italy and the UK. A critique is then provided of these different types of structures. The chapter then moves on to consider transnational policing of economic crime, beginning with an exploration of extraterritoriality and then some of the wide range of bodies with international reach focused upon economic crime.
