ABSTRACT
Our understanding of human life is revisited, and new dimensions are added via the lens of transhumanism and posthumanism. However, the attempt to understand human life through these perspectives is ambiguous and contentious. This chapter thoroughly explores both concepts of transhumanism and posthumanism. It considers the various aspects of human life and raises questions about the many ways in which transhumanist ideals impact on humanity while recognising the benefits from them.
