ABSTRACT
The quality of publicly accessible information concerning voluntary funding to the specialized agencies of the UN often differs from the more transparent data on their assessed contributions. This chapter presents different multi-bi aid data sources available to researchers and compares the quality and coherence of information across them. Based on this analysis, the chapter makes suggestions on how to construct the most reliable datasets concerning multi-bi aid.
