ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes the main considerations that need to be given to the selection of the estimation method for country-level allocations of the multi-bi funding. Following a brief introduction, the discussion proposes a concrete solution to the distinct challenge of the multi-bi aid models posed by the sporadic character of such contributions. Further sections present a series of formal tests, which are conducted for each of the UN agencies separately and for the total allocations to the five agencies taken altogether.
