ABSTRACT

In these final remarks, we give account of some main points discussed in the three parts of the book: the Indian peripherisation, the Indian statebuilding, and the Indian demand-led growth interpretation. We introduce some final reflections on the Indian experience from Latin America, some insights into the contemporary and future relevance of the Indian Ocean as part of the Indo-Pacific space, and some potential lines of research for the Global South conceptual and policymaking dialogue.
