ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 explores the changes in how we lead in more detail. It does so from the perspective of a theoretical framework, one we have constructed from our experience and reflections, which allows us to examine and contextualise some of the most significant theories and practices of leadership over the last 200 years, from Great Man theories to Social Leadership. Our goal is to provide an outline in which to place and then explain Network Leadership.
