ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 explores Network Leadership in the Third Sector. Research on social entrepreneurs has examined how Network Leadership can be used for social impact projects from the environment to economic development and focuses on how to build a network to achieve goals, while an analysis of social movements considers how to strike the difficult balance between central direction and individual freedom to act in networked organisations.
