ABSTRACT
COVID-19 proves to be a killer and creator of new things. This chapter positions COVID-19 as a living example of Human Specialization in action. The advent of COVID-19 has caused humans to innovate. This rapid innovation is imperative to address the human need to survive – to live. However, this type of innovation should be going on all the time to remain competitive. Innovation is the core of human existence as one technology begets another technology. Nevertheless, there are CLOGS to innovation. CLOGS stands for Complacency, Lazy, Obsolete, Gatekeeper and Stopgaps. Human innovation is limited and stopped by CLOGS. A plan for RAPID Innovation in Human Specialization is offered as a solution.
