ABSTRACT
“The EdTech of Things” combines research, sociopolitical thought and futures thinking to the field of educational technology. This chapter examines current triumphs and challenges in educational technology by continuing to bring forecasting into the mix of understanding the future of these technologies. The topics covered include equity and access, extended-reality technologies, open educational resources, educational technologies, artificial intelligence and social media.
