ABSTRACT
This chapter is based on the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE). The data compiled consists of a decadal analysis from 2011 to 2019 on SC Students’ Gross Enrolment Ratio in comparison with all other category students of different states in HEIs. In addition, there are tables on category wise enrolment of students in various types of universities/institutions. Different course levels and programmes like PhD, MPhil and Master’s enrolment of SC students in different disciplines, gender, and regions/states, central and state universities are also included. State wise SC teachers’ data in comparison with other category teachers in HEIs and category wise number of teachers in various types of universities/institutions have also been analyzed.
