ABSTRACT
Certainly, awareness of our planetary challenges has been rapidly expanding over the past decade.
If this is the case, then why is the Principle of Ecoliteracy needed for developing a Sustainability Mindset? The Principle of Ecoliteracy aims particularly at highlighting the connections between what we tend to see as isolated events to grasp the transdisciplinary complexity of the landscape. Additionally, the Principle focuses on linking data with meaning, to go beyond merely cognitive learning. To engage the whole being, feelings must be brought into the classroom.
