ABSTRACT

The object shows a certain property of the subject and the object is mainly served by an abstract noun. What the object represents is connected with what the subject shows by a certain relation. What is indicated by the object belongs to the category or type of what is shown by the subject. The numeral-quantifier phrase, plus the adjective for the property of what is estimated, functions as the object to indicate estimation. The predicate is constructed by a succession of verbs and adjectives or in the opposite order. The succession of two verbal phrases is semantically characterized by the logic sequence rather than coordination, subject-predicate, verb-object, and adverbial-verb. The action conveyed by the second verb (phrase) is the purpose of the action indicated by the first verb (phrase). The word for location doesn’t take any preposition in front in the existential sentence because it is regarded as the object to be described.
