ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses in particular on integrity issues involving scholarly information and uses the Retraction Watch Database as a source of statistics. The chapter looks separately at disciplines in the natural sciences, in the social sciences, in the humanities, and in the professional schools. The chapter explicitly measures five categories of integrity violations from the Retraction Watch Database and compares the disciplines to see which have integrity issues more under control than others.
