ABSTRACT

In this book, the main theme has dealt with proposing a comprehensive solution that we believe will enhance corporate performance. Containing a combination of systems theory elements, effective strategy processes and an “entrepreneurial” type culture, it is a powerful formula in which the elements come together interdependently to produce the latter effect. Given a desire to explore this latter model, how would a company proceed? Are there good reasons for the company to start with only a portion of it? For example, the company may want to start slowly and try simple, random ideas that we have suggested. Alternatively, the company may feel strong overall, but would like to become stronger in certain areas. If so, what portions of the model that we have discussed would be most beneficial for these kinds of organizations?

We will also discuss obstacles that may stand in the way of implementation and discuss how best to deal with these latter issues. This will include, for example, actual case material of change management approaches that have been used successfully by the author in his consulting work.
