ABSTRACT
This chapter connects the lessons described in chapters two and three to contemporary leadership research and principles. It highlights how a sense of history uniquely cultivates emotional, social, and culture intelligences, promotes organizational identity, serves as a guide for the future, and transmits important values. The chapter provides insights and examples of how history makes people a bit wiser and more successful in the moral enterprise of leading formal collectives.
