ABSTRACT
This chapter looks back on each step of the Facilitated Wave Model and metaphorically explores the parallels between surfing and the Facilitated Wave Model and invites the reader to ride the wave. Without a doubt, there will be challenging times and mistakes will be made, just as even professional surfers can misread a wave and spectacularly crash. Surfers don’t surf on top of the wave, they get into the wave and become one with the wave. Similarly, with skills and practice, practitioners can navigate the tough situations, harness the power of transformation through adventure, and enjoy the ride!
