ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the ever-present lens utilized by the practitioner to determine how to best help clients reach their clinical goals. This lens is focused by the practitioner’s training and supervision, by their understanding and use of the resources available to them, and by a general clinical mindset toward facilitation. The specific interventions used to help clients make meaning from their experience, or what practitioners do to guide the learning, are covered at the end of each chapter covering a specific component of the Facilitated Wave Model.
