ABSTRACT

This book is about how to design, conduct, interpret and report on research that is carried out by political scientists and scientists and practitioners working in the other behavioral sciences. It has been written to serve as a guide for designing research activities that investigate political and social science topics, the strategy for which may be either a quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods approach. While its focus is on how to do research for students of political science, it will also be a valuable tool for those persons who have already embarked on their careers.
