ABSTRACT
Qualitative data exhibit variety both in form and context. They can also be evaluated and interpreted in a variety of ways. Qualitative data can be words, pictures, artifacts, music scores, etc. Furthermore, each of the several analysis approaches has its own underlying purpose, and each often produces a different outcome. This chapter discusses a few of the more prevalent ways of analyzing qualitative data and three separate but similar processing models.
