ABSTRACT
Aidan Sullivan is the founder and CEO of Verbatim, a commercial agency representing photojournalists and documentary filmmakers, established in 2016. Prior to this, for twelve years, he was the Vice President of Photo Assignments for Getty Images. Sullivan began as a photographer, before moving into editor positions. He was the Picture Editor of the Sunday Times of London and then the Assistant Editor responsible for all photography at the Sunday Times magazine. This chapter presents an interview of Sullivan in which he shares his experience as a photographer in conflict zones. In the interveiw, he also describes his job and some of the photographs taken by him in Afghanistan, Sudan, and Syria.
