ABSTRACT
This chapter looks in more detail at the most creative audio processing tools and their applications in mixing drums. It discusses spectral and spatial processing, incorporating detailed discussion on the use of different equalisation, reverb, and delay strategies when mixing drums. It also covers sonic enhancers, sidechain processing, and drum replacement tools in order to equip the reader to create professional standard drum mixes.
