ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on ‘tweets’ (brief messages) generated by a Twitter bot I installed on the social media platform Twitter with the handle @postqual. The bot's ongoing tweets are a satirical intervention into the contemporary academic milieu. The chapter begins with a gloss of the background of what has been called postqualitative research. I then describe the mechanics of how the bot operates. The latter half of the chapter thinks with some of the PostQual Diffractor Bot's generated tweets—or micro blogs—as critiques and provocations.
