ABSTRACT

To the south between the two main buildings, author proposed an exquisite private garden. She proposed an architecture that seeks not to oversimplify by paring down reality. However we hadn't resolved the role of the monarchy and public access to the parks, nor had she dealt with traffic and pedestrian movement both within and surrounding the parks. With the Royal Parks Review Group, the English Heritage London Advisory Committee and the work as an English Heritage Commissioner, she began to feel really motivated to keep coming up with planning ideas for London. It was at that time that she started visiting South Korea and formed a long-lasting and fruitful professional relationship with John Davies, who headed up new work for Arup there.
