ABSTRACT

Readers instructors have a major influence on the success of their photographic studies. In many ways they work for them, not in an employer-employee relationship. Rather, they work for them by designing courses, assignments, and other tools to engage them and motivate them to learn. Throughout their curriculum, instructors help them build skills and abilities as they learn how to use their camera, look at images, critique, and excel to attain higher levels of mastery. With the long-term guidance of their instructors, they will gradually feel more empowered to pursue their creative ideas. As they gain confidence, instructors will encourage them to challenge yourself.
