ABSTRACT
In the current chapter, we describe basic information about symptomology, including inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity and areas of impairment in the classroom and in unstructured settings. This chapter illustrates a clear connection between symptomology, areas of impairment, and intervention. Each area of impairment includes a figure that directs you to chapters in this book that describe interventions to address the identified problems.
