ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the “Vision 2021” of the government of Bangladesh which intends to turn Bangladesh into a middle-income country by the year 2021. Moreover, the Power Sector Management Plan 2030 touted by the government to formulate all energy policies of the country is also discussed. Further, the various energy policies in regard to the various energy sectors together with the future challenges that will be faced by Bangladesh are also highlighted in the chapter.
