ABSTRACT
HR graphic texts highlight the transformation of vulnerability into resilience and resistance in HR graphic texts. The chapter studies the novels’ focus on social resilience and their examination of ‘resilient subjectification’. They show, the chapter argues, the evolution of ‘adaptive resilience’ and a conscious, agential ‘mobilization of vulnerability’.
