ABSTRACT

The heart of the self-help process is addressing the people problem. In this chapter, the author first helps the people to list several such possible solutions from their own perspective and to choose the one that seems most likely to address their problem. It is very likely that the people have tried to help themselves with their nominated problem. The author recommends that the people proceed using the following order: focus on the people perspective, focus on the professional perspective and take the best from both frameworks or choose to go with one framework or the other. In the closing section of this chapter, the author focuses on integrating personal and professional solutions.
