ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the diplomatic missions of the DEHL in Malaya, which had a considerable population of Indian labourers working at rubber plantations. Malaya also was involved in the politics of the Second World War due to its geographical location. The DEHL therefore had to deal with many unprecedented situations before the Japanese occupation of Malaya put a halt on these diplomatic missions.
