ABSTRACT
This chapter summarizes the results of a study of the imagery associated with immigration experiences. A questionnaire was designed to elicit from immigrants enduring images about their immigration. The purpose was to examine the presence or absence of archetypal trends in these images. Thirty-seven respondents participated. The results endorse that archetypal content shapes images that immigrants have of their new country. The meanings of these images are discussed with possible explanations for their significance.
