ABSTRACT

Each section of this book is divided into various narrative descriptions of “live” teaching observations which, we believe will be useful in helping you, whether you are a pre-service teacher, a veteran teacher, a teacher educator, or find yourself somewhere in between. Reading and engaging with these vignettes and teaching practices allows you to connect the teaching practices described to well-established and research-supported frameworks (The ABCs of How We Learn, the Danielson framework for teaching (FFT), the dual objective, and culturally relevant teaching (CRT)).
