Categories for younger students could include I Am Ready; I Am Responsible for My Work; I Can Focus. At the elementary levels, you might use these categories: Establishing Structures; Reflection and Self-Assessment; Self-Regulation and Focus; Working Through Challenges. At secondary levels, you might expand, as students demonstrate basic self-management and engagement skills, to include row categories such as: Resourcefulness; Resilience; Social Awareness; Self-Care; and Reflection.
