A multidimensional, multi-level, comparative perspective on youth unemployment

This chapter introduces the main issues addressed in the book, presents its main argument, and describes the data and methods used in the analyses. More specifically, after outlining the book’s main objectives, it discusses the multidimensional (personal, social, political), multi-level (macro, meso, micro), and cross-national comparative (the four cities) perspective adopted in the analyses. Finally, it presents the plan of the book.
