ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the subjective well-being of unemployed youth. We believe that it is important to look at how unemployed youth find meaning in life and whether this contributes to their overall life satisfaction. Accordingly, we study two interdependent dimensions of well-being: the life satisfaction of unemployed youth (hedonic dimension) and the opportunities they have to live a flourishing life (eudaimonic dimension).
