ABSTRACT
As this chapter explains, it seems that there are possible cases where a person does not know that p but, nevertheless, this person’s testimony provides knowledge that p to hearers. If there are such cases, they are counterexamples to the idea that a testimonial exchange can produce knowledge only when the speaker has the knowledge in question.
