ABSTRACT
The focus of this chapter is Moore’s paradox, which gets its name from G.E. Moore. The challenge posed by Moore’s paradox is to explain why it seems absurd to believe things like “it’s raining, but I don’t believe it” or “it’s raining, but I believe that it’s not raining”.
