ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Rob Hudson, Cultural Manager, gives a tour of the permanent exhibition of the Krowathunkooloong Keeping Place. The exhibition was curated by the Elders in the decades prior to the Keeping Place opening in 1994 and remains a valuable source of ontological and epistemological knowledge. Rob demonstrates how the Elders embedded the exhibition with knowledge that enables successive Cultural Managers and the wider Gunai Kurnai Community to ground themselves and speak of personal experiences within its narrative structure. Through providing the reader with this tour, Rob extends Gunai Kurnai grounded normativity and invites you into a relationship with the personal experiences he shares in alignment with Community protocol.
