How to settle on a dissertation topic? Every dissertation journey begins with choosing a topic. Where some students come to dissertation with a ready topic in mind, for others choosing a topic takes up considerable time and effort. This chapter attempts to de-mystify the process of finding a topic, and gives practical tools and guidance on where to look for inspiration and how to settle on a topic.
